STS502 - McDonald Creek - Winter snows blanket the ground on McDonald Creek in Glacier National Park in Montana. It's obviously a fresh snow, as the sun has not melted it enough for it to slip off the evergreens. The distant mountains with their snow-capped peaks point out the immensity of the wide open spaces.
