Due to a computer crash, I have lost nearly all my patterns.
Most of them I still have the original pictures to re-create them from, but not all of them. I
finally have my computer up, but until I have finished going through salvaged files, I do not know
which ones I can re-create and which are gone forever. Until then, patterns with the ordering
button under them are available. If there is no order button underneath, then that particular
pattern is not yet available. If I find I no longer have that picture, then it will be removed
from the page.
The counted cross stitch
patterns you see here on my site are mostly scenery and sights found in the rural areas
of the central United States, predominantly Oklahoma. Even if you do not cross
stitch, you may enjoy seeing some of the pictures!
If you like this site, please click on the small banners on the left
below the navigation links. This will put in votes for me at these sites and give you the chance
to look at other sites, patterns, kits and creations.
I have divided the patterns into categories. Listed
below are the type of contents you can expect to find in each category. There are also
free patterns in each category that can be downloaded.
All pattern sizes are figured using 14 count fabric. If you use
a different count fabric, your finished size will be different from the size given.
All you will need to print and view the files
is the free Adobe Acrobat Reader that many people already have on their computers. If you
don't already have this free program, you can download it
HERE.

Around The House
has in it patterns for welcome signs, cats, dogs, kittens, puppies, picturesque houses and
cabins, flower arrangements and other things found around many households. Around the
House also has charts for use as trims on towels and tablecloths, such as Celtic knotwork,
mug insert patterns and other repeating patterns.

At The Lake contains water scenes from
many different water courses and reservoirs, and the birds, animals and plants found
there. All of these lakes, rivers and creeks are fairly close to where I live and I visit
them frequently.

Beads and Feathers has patterns that
are Native American and American Indian related. You will find pictures
here of pottery, basketry, dancers, feather items, just about anything having to do with
the Native American culture.

From The Garden contains things found
around the garden such as domestic flowers (roses, irises and such), vegetables and
gardening implements. This section may also include butterflies and other garden insects
with the flowers and plants they were found on or near. In this section I also have a
series of herbal studies I am working on, with each one having a large study of the herb
and matching towel borders.

In The Grove has patterns in it
pertaining to the Wiccan lifestyle and religion. Here you can find things
like altar cloths, Godesses, Gods, pentagrams and other related magickal things. One of my
favorites is the Oak Leaf Altar Cloth pattern, with oak leaves in each corner, colored for
the direction, and a large pentagram in the center. Charts for other leaves and acorns and
pine cones that can be used for embellishing clothing and items with a Pagan
flavor are here, too.

 |
Moments of Prayer is a new category
that contains patterns pertaining to the Christian and mainstream religions, such as old churches
and cathedrals, the cross and others.
|
 |
Myths and Magic has wizards, dragons,
unicorns and other mythical creatures and fantasy art.
|
 |
On The Farm has things such as old
barns, old farm machinery, old homesteads, herds of cattle, individual cows, horses,
sheep and other things found when visiting a farm.
|
 |
Shore To Shore has in it scenes and
locations found in other areas of the United States and possibly taking in other North
American areas. Here you will also find scenes from our National Parks.
|
 |
Roadside Sights contains roadside
findings and scenes such as wild flowers, historical sites, sunsets, and things I found
that I thought were picturesque. Many of these pictures were taken without even getting
out of my vehicle.
|
There will be other categories added as they are needed, as
this site is in a state of nearly constant growth. Many things catch my eye and fancy,
and I try to include them as I find them.
I hope you enjoy the sights and will find something you'd
enjoy stitching.
Please be patient, the following pages are graphic intensive!
